Chocolate chip cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I feel like having these yumm chocolate chip cookies...but not in a position to bake a batch because of few issues back home. I am waiting for my mom who is visiting us next week, who is a baking freak just like me. Have already decided these cookies are the first thing am gonna ask her to make..

Am sure each and every person who loves to bake would have their favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe...and here is mine...

It’s the simplest chocolate chip cookie recipe I ever came across and it’s flicked from the Bournville videos in youtube. But mind you, I haven’t used bournville chocolates here, how can someone break the bournville into chips and add them to a cookie dough???? Come on…its not everyday you would buy a Bourville bar and I would love to eat it as it is, any day…

It tastes so nice that I don’t want to brag anymore about it. Please go ahead and bake these awesome cookies and start munching…

Bournville Cookies

225gms butter
110 gms caster sugar
325gms plain flour
1/2tsp vanilla essence
125gms hazlenut bournville (I used cooking chocolate)

So, lets get baking...

Add sugar to softened butter and mix gently. Add essence. Sift in the flour and add the chopped chocolates and form the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 deg C for 20 minutes.  Didn't I tell you its easy….and so tasty, better get ready to bake a few more batches of these lovely cookies…
The attached pictures are a little old and was taken when I baked these cookies for the first time last year.
